An Osceola man was cited on four charges after damaging two parked vehicles and fleeing on foot.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 10:29 p.m. Sept. 16, a 2004 Buick Park Avenue, driven by Jesse McDole, 35, of Osceola, was southbound on Division Street when it left the roadway and struck a 1997 Dodge Ram, legally parked in a yard on the east side of the 500 block of North Division Street. The impact caused the Ram to roll and strike a 1999 Chevrolet Blazer, also parked in the yard.

The Buick then fled the area and was located several blocks away, without the driver. A passenger was located near the Buick and identified McDole as the driver. Witnesses said McDole was severely intoxicated. The passenger, who also appeared intoxicated, said they had been at a bar drinking and confirmed witness statements. The registered owner of the Buick said she let McDole borrow the car.

McDole was never located by officers, but was mailed citations for leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving, parking where prohibited, failure to maintain control and improper use of lanes.

Damage to the Buick was estimated at $4,000, damages to the Ram and Blazer were estimated at $5,000 each.
