Adrian A. Jacques, 40, of Afton, was taken into custody Sept. 18 in Arispe on the charges of burglary, second degree and burglary, third degree.

According to a Union County report, at approximately 7:05 p.m. Jacques entered a residence on Division Street though the back sliding door of the home, while two of the homes occupants were inside. Jacques walked through the home opening doors inside. He was told by the occupants, who did not know him, to leave, while they reported the incident. Deputies responding to the call, located Jacques on the back deck of the residence.

Jacques was also seen exiting a storage shed in the 300 block of West Forbes Street, which was unoccupied. The owners of the storage shed did not know Jacques and he did not have permission to be in it.

Law Enforcement received multiple reports of Jacques walking through yards near homes during the incident.

Jacques was transported to the Union County Jail and held on $15,000 cash or surety bond.
