Creston Police report - Sept. 18, 2023

Lela A. Churchwell, 44, of Creston, was taken into custody 9:32 a.m. Sept. 16 at her residence on the charge of disorderly conduct - loud raucous noise.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 9:19 a.m. officers responded to report of a female being disruptive at Regency Park Apartments. Churchwell was found at the complex yelling and disrupting multiple residents. Several residents of the complex reported being woken up by Churchwell at approximately 6:30 a.m. who was outside screaming. Later in the morning more residents reported Churchwell was disrupting them by screaming and yelling. She continued to yell and cause a disturbance while officers were on-scene.

Churchwell was cited and released from the scene on a summons to appear.
