Creston Police report - Sept. 6, 2023

Patsy M. Shores, 32, of Creston, was taken into custody 9:25 p.m. Sept. 5 at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on the charge of tattooing without a permit.

According to a Creston Police report, on March 24 Shores was reported to be illegally tattooing at her residence. A complaint was filed with the Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals and Licensing, who investigated and found the complaint to be accurate. The department’s findings were then forwarded to the police department and county attorney.

Shores was transported to the Union County Jail were she was released from after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond.
