A Lenox man was cited Sunday following a two-vehicle accident in Creston.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 10:19 a.m. a 2019 Mazda CX5, driven by Diane Lydon-Poore, 73, of Creston, was northbound on Maple Street, traveling through the uncontrolled intersection at Page Street. Lydon-Poore failed to yield the right-of-way and struck a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by Cornelio Rodriguez, 33, of Lenox, who was westbound.
Damage to the Mazda was estimated at $4,000. The Chevrolet sustained an estimated $3,000 in damage. Police issued a citation to Rodriguez for not having a valid driver’s license.
