Tyler D. Gage, 37, of Kent, was taken into custody 9:12 a.m. May 11 at Cromwell Road and Highway 34 on two Union County warrants charging him with assault with intent to inflict serious injury and harassment, third degree.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 4:30 p.m. April 23, Gage went to a residence on the 700 block of New York Avenue and assaulted a male by throwing a metal tool at him and grabbing him by the neck.

While on the property Gage demanded the victim give him several items to settle a debt, refused to leave and told the victim “this isn’t over.”

Gage was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $2,000 cash or surety bond.

Michael D. Crigger, 34, of Greenfield, was taken into custody 2:17 a.m. May 12 at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on the charge of OWI, first offense.

No further details were available.

Crigger was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond.
