Elizabeth L. Reents, 46, of Creston, was taken into custody at 6:11 p.m. March 13 in the 900 block of North Chestnut Street on the charge of disorderly conduct - loud raucous noise.

According to a Creston Police report, officers were called to a residence on North Chestnut for a woman yelling and knocking on the doors and windows. The woman, identified as Reents, was observed on a cell phone video yelling while standing on the porch of the residence prior to officers’ arrival.

When officers arrived, they observed Reents yelling and causing a disturbance while standing in the roadway.

Reents was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting a $300 cash or surety bond.
