The driver of a vehicle involved in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday suffered possible injuries.

According to a Union County report, at approximately 8:14 a.m. March 9 a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by Sandra Sickels, 55, of Creston, was eastbound on Highway 34 when it struck the guard rail of a bridge. Sickels lost control of the Tahoe causing it to leave the road and enter the north ditch. The Tahoe came to a rest on its top with the airbags deployed.

Sickels complained of soreness to her head but denied medical treatment from EMS. Sickels told law enforcement she would be transported privately to Greater Regional Medical Center to be checked out.

Estimated damage to the Tahoe was listed at $3,000.
