Randall Jay Beving, 72, of Kent, was taken into custody 11 a.m. March 7 at Kirby and McKinley streets on the charge of driving while revoked.

According to a Creston Police report, officers initiated a traffic stop on 2010 Jeep Compass for not displaying license plates. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Beving, who was found to have a revoked license from an OWI in February.

Beving was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond.
