Bonnie Decker, 54, of Lorimor, was taken into custody March 2 on a Union County warrant for the charge of failure to appear on the original charge of violation of probation.
According to Union County District Court documents, Decker was ordered to appear in court Feb. 24 for a probation violation hearing and did not.
Decker was transported to the Adams County Jail and held without bond until seen by a judge.

Dillon Savage, 30, of Lorimor, was taken into custody March 2 on a Union County warrant for the charge of failure to serve jail sentence.
According to Union County District Court documents, Savage was sentenced Jan. 20 to serve 30 days in the Union County Jail after being convicted of possession of a controlled substance - marijuana, second offense and possession of a controlled substance, second offense. Savage was ordered to report March 1 to the Union County Jail to serve his time but did not.
Savage was transported to the Union County Jail and held until the balance of his sentence is served.

Pedro Quintanilla-Flores, 51, of Lenox, was taken into custody Feb. 23 on the charge of possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine, first offense.
According to a Union County report, at approximately 11:58 p.m. Feb. 23, deputies stopped a 2010 Buick Enclave at the intersection of Montgomery and Division streets in Creston for multiple equipment violations. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Quintanilla-Flores, who denied having any illegal narcotics in the vehicle. Creston Police K-9 Baxo was deployed and alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A probable cause search resulted in deputies locating a clear baggie containing a white crystalline substance on the driver’s side of the vehicle. The substance field tested positive for methamphetamine.
Quintanilla-Flores was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from on his own recognizance after appearing in court for a preliminary hearing.

Paul Rangel, 43, of Creston, was taken into custody March 5 on the charge of driving while suspended.
According to a Union County report, Rangel was pulled over on Highway 34 west of Creston for speeding. A check of Iowa driver’s license showed Rangel’s license was first suspended in 2007 due to non-payment of fines and a subsequent suspension occurred in 2021 when Rangel was convicted of driving while suspended and for non-payment of fines.
Rangel was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond.
