No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at an uncontrolled intersection Friday in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 6:21 a.m. a 2011 GMC Acadia, driven by Liberty Ahrens, 30, of Creston, was northbound on Mulberry Street at the same time a 2021 Ford Bronco, driven by Angelina Herrera, 41, of Creston, was westbound on Harsh Street. The two vehicles met at the uncontrolled intersection but neither vehicle saw the other. The Acadia collided with the Bronco’s rear driver’s side tire area.

Estimated damage to the Bronco was listed as $3,000. Damage to the Acadia was estimated at $2,500.

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident Friday in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 7:39 a.m. a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by Christina Flores, 48, of Creston, was southbound on Spruce Street when it was struck by a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Valeria Villagomez, 27, of Mission, Texas, who was eastbound on Devoe Street and failed to yield the right-of-way from the stop sign.

Damages were estimated at $3,500 for the Equinox and $2,500 for the Silverado.
