Kevin L. Harris Jr., 32, of Creston, was taken into custody Jan. 24 in Clarke County on a Union County warrant for the charges of lascivious acts with a child by fondle or touch, drug distribution violation to persons under 18 and enticing a minor under age 13 - sexual abuse or exploitation.

According to a Creston Police report, on July 21, 2021, Harris used marijuana and alcohol to entice three children, under age 18, to his home. Two of the children said they felt pressured to take shots with Harris and one said he felt pressured to smoke marijuana out of a pop can provided by Harris. After two of the children left the home, Harris reportedly fondled the remaining child for several minutes. A warrant for his arrest was issued Aug. 10, 2021.

Harris is being held in Clarke County Jail on $45,000 cash or surety bond.
