Ashley Davis, 37, of Creston, was taken into custody 1:41 p.m. Feb. 1 at her residence on on a Union County warrant for the charge of failure to appear on the original charge of simple assault.

According to a Union County District Court document, Davis was ordered to appear in court Jan. 31 for an initial appearance on the original charge and did not.

Davis was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $300 cash or surety bond.

Milea J. Mickey, 40, of Creston, was taken into custody 5:37 p.m. Feb. 1 at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on a Union County warrant for the charge of failure to appear on the original charge of simple assault.

According to a Union County District Court document, Mickey was ordered to appear in court Jan. 31 for an initial appearance on the original charge and did not.

Mickey was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $300 cash or surety bond.

Curtiss D. Bird, 34, of Creston, was taken into custody 8:50 p.m. Feb. 1 on a Humbolt County warrant for the charge of failure to appear on the original charge of theft, second degree.

According to a Humbolt County District Court document, Bird was ordered to appear in court Jan. 3 for a contempt hearing and did not.

Bird was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $5,000 cash only bond.

Kelly Belt, 31, of Creston, was taken into custody 9:02 p.m. Feb. 1 on the charge of violation of no contact order.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 10:36 p.m. Jan. 25, officer’s observed two vehicles pulled over on Pole Road. Officers stopped and checked on the occupants of both vehicles, who said they were fine. While leaving the area, officer’s ran the license plate of one of the vehicles and discovered the registered owner was listed in an active protective order. Officer’s then ran the protected parties information and verified she was the occupant of the other vehicle.

Officers went back and spoke with both individuals and confirmed their identity. Both told officers they had been to court and the order had been dropped. Dispatch told officers one order had been dropped but one was still active. The male was taken into custody at the scene. The female, identified as Belt, had children in the vehicle and was released but told to come to the Law Enforcement Center at a later date.

Belt was transported to the Adams County Jail and held without bond until initial appearance.

Nicholas Hardisty, 43, of Orient, was taken into custody at 10:18 p.m. Feb. 1 on the 100 block of Manor Drive on a Union County warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of driving while barred.

According to a Union County District Court document, Hardisty was ordered to appear in court Aug. 27, 2021, for pretrial conference and did not.

Hardisty was transported to the Union County Jail and held without bond until initial appearance.

Kristopher J. Watson, 43, of Lovilla was taken into custody 10:27 p.m Feb. 1 on the 100 block of West Adams Street on the charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

According to a Creston Police report, Watson was publicly intoxicated and disrupting other passengers on the Amtrak train. Amtrak staff stated he had consumed approximately seven beers while on the train, and had been disturbing staff and other passengers. Watson admitted to drinking four beers while on the train. Watson had blood shot, watery eyes, slurred speech, impaired balance and the odor of alcohol on his breath. Watson consented to a PBT and the result was .260% . Once Watson was removed from the train and transported to the law center he continued to yell and disrupt the people within the law center.

Watson was transported to the Union County Jail and held on $600 cash or surety bond.

Chloe Kerrigan, 20, of Afton, was taken into custody 12:43 a.m. Feb. 2 at South Cedar Street and Highway 34 on the charge of OWI, first offense.

According to a Creston Police report, Kerrigan was stopped by officers for failing to have the headlights to her vehicle on. Officers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath. Kerrigan consented to field sobriety testing but refused PBT and chemical testing on the Datamaster.

Kerrigan was transported to the Adams County Jail and held on $1,000 cash or surety bond.
