Accident

A Mount Ayr woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident in Creston Monday.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 3:30 p.m. a 2022 Ford Explorer, driven by Joyce England, 80, of Mount Ayr was eastbound on Highway 34 and attempted to turn north on to Patriotic Parkway from the outside lane. While crossing the westbound lanes of Highway 34, England struck a 2007 Dodge Ram, driven by Dylan Hoepker, 16, of Cromwell, who was traveling west in the inside lane.

England sustained injuries in the accident which required her to be transported by air from Greater Regional to another medical facility for treatment. Both the Explorer and Ram had estimated damages of $1,500 each.
