Eric L. Millslagle, 40, of Cromwell, was taken into custody Jan. 24 on a Union County warrant for the charge of domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury.

According to a Union County report, in the late evening/early morning hours of May 10, 11, 2022, the victim had fallen onto a pile of clothes and was punched numerous times on her left shoulder, right shoulder and leg by Millslagle. She was also hit on the nose causing two black eyes. The assault left bruising on all the mentioned areas. Millslagle also left a voice mail on the victim’s phone stating that she was “worthless and he would see that she ended up dead.” The victim provided copies of the voice mail and all the photos of the bruised areas to law enforcement.

Millslagle was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond.
