Creston

Curtis LaMasters, 38, of Creston, was taken into custody 3:50 p.m. Jan. 17 on the charge of driving while barred.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 9:56 p.m. Jan. 9, officers conducted a traffic stop on a 2011 BMW 535xi, due to the registered owner of the vehicle having a barred license. Contact was made with the driver, identified as LaMasters who is the registered owner. Due to multiple circumstances, LaMasters was released at the time of the stop but asked to come to the Law Enforcement Center at a later date for the charge.

On Jan. 17 LaMasters was issued a citation for the charge and released from the Union County Law Enforcement Center on a summons to appear.
