While hauling Christmas decorations, a City of Creston employee hit a parked car late Monday morning.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 10:50 a.m. Nov. 28 a 2016 Dodge 2500 pickup, owned by the City of Creston and driven by Blade Martwick, 41, of Creston, attempted to turn north on to Elm Street but failed to navigate the turn correctly and hit a 2016 Jeep Gladiator, legally parked on West Adams Street.

Estimated damage to the Jeep was listed as $2,000. No damage was listed to the Dodge.
