At approximately 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, the Union County Sheriff’s Office deployed the Multi-Jurisdictional Entry Team (MJET) to execute a search warrant at 512 Minnesota Ave. in Lorimor.
After MJET secured entry into the residence, a search of the property was conducted. Guns, syringes, marijuana, methamphetamine, marijuana wax, packaging materials, drug paraphernalia and assorted prescription pills were seized.
The search warrant resulted in the arrests of the following individuals:
Gunner Holtry, 23, of Winterset, was charged with two counts of possession of a firearm or offensive weapon by a domestic abuse offender, possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine, third or subsequent offense, possession of a controlled substance - marijuana third or subsequent offense; possession of drug paraphernalia, controlled substance violation - intent to deliver, marijuana and unlawful possession of prescription pills.
According to an Union County report, Holtry was located in an upstairs bedroom of the residence, laying covered up on the bed. After being ordered out of the bed, a handgun and a loaded syringe were located underneath the covers. The syringe field tested positive for methamphetamine. While searching the room Holtry was found in, drug paraphernalia items, two plastic baggies containing 30 trazaodone and 90 hydrocodone pills and metal box containing a scale, baggies, rolling papers and wax like substance were located. Many of these items are commonly known to be used in the sale and distribution of narcotics. Holtry is listed in an active protection order prohibiting him from possessing firearms and ammunition.
Holtry is being held in the Union County Jail on a $26,300 cash or surety bond.
Dillion Savage, 31, of Lorimor, was charged with possession of a controlled substance - marijuana, second offense; possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine, second offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. Savage was also served on a Union County warrant for the charge of assault.
According to an Union County report, law enforcement located Savage in a bedroom of the residence while serving the search warrant. Also located in the bedroom were baggies containing a white crystalline substance which field tested positive for methamphetamine, baggies containing a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
A Union County warrant request states Savage assaulted a female Nov. 15 who was walking on Minnesota Ave in Lorimor. The female reported Savage pulled up in a vehicle and began yelling at her. When she told Savage to leave, he got out of the vehicle and approached her, continuing to yell. Savage hit the female multiple times including in the face, causing her to bleed.
Savage is being held in the Union County Jail on a $3,600 cash or surety bond.
Bonnie Decker, 54 of Lorimor was charged with possession of prescription drugs, possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to an Union County report, Decker was located in and deemed to be a resident of the property where the search warrant was executed. A glass pipe containing residue which field tested positive for methamphetamine was found in Decker’s pants pocket and a bottle of prescription pills were located in a desk belonging to Decker. The pills were not prescribed to Decker but she admitted they were hers.
Decker was transported to Adams County Jail and held on $2,300 cash or surety bond.
