No injuries were reported in a car versus deer accident Tuesday in Union County.
According to an Union County accident report, at approximately 7:42 a.m. Oct. 25, a 2019 Kia Optima, driven by Eugenia Hall, 44, of Afton, was traveling eastbound on Highway 34 when a deer entered the roadway from the north ditch. Hall was unable to avoid the deer, hitting it with the driver’s side of the vehicle.
Estimated damage to the Kia was listed at $2,000.
