Accident

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 12:39 p.m. Sept. 27, a 2008 Ford Edge driven by Mary O. Crall, 72, of Orient, was traveling eastbound on Townline Street when a 2017 Ford Fiesta driven by Emily Engdahl, 14, of Creston, hit the drivers side of the Edge entering the intersection from Creston High School. Engdahl told officers she looked before entering the intersection but did not see Crall’s vehicle.

Estimated damage done to the Edge was $1,000. Damage to the Fiesta was estimated at $5,000.
