No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 2:25 p.m. Sept. 21, Daile Keeler, 17, of Creston, was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox east on Russell Street through the intersection of Russell and Lincoln streets when she struck a telephone pole on the south side of Russell Street. Keeler told officers she was looking to her left as she went through the intersection to make sure no one was coming and when she looked back in front of her, she was hitting the pole.

Estimated damage to the Equinox was listed as $9,000 and damage to the pole was estimated at $1,000.

A citation was issued for operation of a non-registered vehicle in a Thursday morning accident in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, April Barron, 44, of Creston, was driving a 2010 Chrysler Town and County eastbound on Howard Street, near Chestnut Street when she struck a parked 2007 Chevrolet Silverado with a trailer attached, owned by James Howard, on the south side of Howard Street.

Barron was issued a citation for operating a non-registered vehicle. Estimated damages to the Town and Country were $7,000 and it was towed from the scene. Approximately $5,000 of damage was estimated as done to the Silverado.
