Accident

No injuries were reported in a Tuesday afternoon accident in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 2:30 p.m. Sept. 20, Frederick Franklin, 71, of Creston, was traveling south near the 900 block of North Sumner Street, driving a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado when he struck a illegally parked 2014 Chrysler Town and Country parked on the west side of Sumner Street facing south.

Estimated damage to the Silverado and Town and County were both listed as $1,000 each.
