Leaving the scene of an accident and reckless driving citations were issued on Monday, June 27, in an accident that occurred in Arispe on private property.

According to a Union County accident report, at approximately 10:29 p.m. a 2006 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Rhoda Davis of Creston, pulled into a driveway on Forbes Street in Arispe at a high rate of speed, hitting a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze that was parked in the driveway. Davis then left the scene without reporting the accident. She was later located and admitted to hitting the parked vehicle and driving too fast.

Damages to the Chevrolet Cruze were estimated at $7,000 and estimated damages to the Impala were $1,500.
