No injuries were reported in a Monday afternoon accident at Green Valley State Park.

According to a Union County Sheriff’s report at approximately 4:24 p.m. June 13, a 2013 Ford F150 with a camper attached, driven by Cody Ingle of Ottumwa was turning left around a curve in the campground area and didn’t take the corner wide enough causing the camper to clip the rear drivers side of a 2022 Toyota Tundra that was parked on the side of the roadway. Both vehicles were able to be driven away from the scene.

Damage to Ingle’s camper was estimated at $3,000. The Tundra sustained damages estimated at $2,500.
