Driver issued citations for failure to maintain control and no insurance in a Friday morning accident in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, a 2005 Chevrolet Uplander driven by Brandi Atkins of Creston, was traveling north in the alleyway between Elm and Maple streets and struck a telephone pole. The driver advised officers that she wasn’t able to see well due to crying.

Damage was estimated at $4,000.
