Tyler J. McElroy, 24, of Ottumwa, was taken into custody 10:09 p.m. May 2, in the 400 block of North Oak Street on the charge of burglary, second degree.
According to a Creston Police report 9:22 p.m. May 2, McElroy was at a residence in Creston and was asked by the resident to leave, McElroy took his bag and left as asked. McElroy later came back to the residence, hitting the door with his fist several times and then kicked the door of the residence in before leaving the scene. McElroy does not reside at the address and had no property there.
He is being held in the Union County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

Tina Richards,18, of Creston, was taken into custody 1:36 a.m. May 3, at the Union County Law Center in Creston and charged with trespass first offense.
According to a Creston Police report, Richards was issued a citation and released on a summons to appear.
