Devon Taylor Keller, 31, of rural Union County, was charged on a Union County warrant for violation of a no contact/protective order – a simple misdemeanor – 12:28 p.m. Thursday at the Union County Courthouse.
According to a Creston Police report, a woman received a text from Keller asking if she would pass on a message to the protected party and that female contacted law enforcement about the no contact order in place. Law enforcement made contact with Keller using the phone number they have on file, and Keller admitted to sending the message.
Keller was held awaiting an appearance before the magistrate.
