Adams County Sheriff

Rebecca Larocco, 40, of Corning, was charged on 12 counts of forgery, a Class D felony, Wednesday.

According to an Adams County Sheriff’s affidavits, Larocco was observed on camera writing checks and forging Stanley Robert’s signature on multiple checks. In a Jan. 4 interview between Larocco and law enforcement officials, she admitted to signing the check, which she had no right or privilege to do.

Larocco was being held on $60,000 cash bond.

Matthew Avila, 25, of Prescott, was charged on an Adams County warrant for failure to appear Wednesday.

Avila was held without bond.
