Michael Scott Walton, 36 of Clearfield was charged on three Union County warrants for violating probation on original charges of attempted burglary – third degree, fourth-degree theft, posesssion of a controlled substance – class D felony, and first-degree theft, class C felony 9:15 a.m. Dec. 17 at the Union County Law Enforcement Center.

Walton was being held on $22,000 cash or surety bond in Adams County Jail.

Tonya Elizabeth Tindle, 31, of Clearfield was charged on a Union County warrant for violating probation on the original charge of a controlled substance violation – class C felony, 7:36 a.m. Saturday at the Union County Law Enforcement Center.

Tindle was being held on $10,000 cash only bond in the Dallas County Jail.

Steven Shane Mills, 19, of Kent was charged with driving while suspended 1:45 p.m. Dec. Saturday on North Birch Street.

Mills was cited and released.

Heaold Ezra Brown II, 37, of Clearfield was charged on a Union County warrant for fifth-degree theft, a simple misdemeanor, 11:58 p.m. Saturday at the Union County Law Enforcement Center.

Brown was released on $300 bond from Union County Jail.

Michah William Denman, 29, of Ankeny, was charged with domestic abuse assault 1:11 a.m. Sunday on North Spruce Street.

According to a Creston Police report, Denman choked a female victim, who stated Denman choked her multiple times. One of those times she said it made her pass out. The victim had red marks and scratches on her neck. Denman also took the victim’s phone, hid it from her and would not give it back when she made comments about wanting to call police. Denman would not let the victim leave the house and law enforcement obserbed him pulling the victim back on to the porch by the arm. It wasn’t until law enforcement told him to release the victim before he did.

Denman was released on $6,300 after his appearance before the magistrate.

Matthew Charles Parsons, 37, 908 W. Jefferson St., was charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense, 2:39 a.m. Sunday at his residence.

According to a Creston Police report, after a complaint was received regarding a truck running with music playing loudly, Parsons was found passed out in the drivers seat of his truck as it was parked in his driveway with the motor running. Parsons admitted to consuming alcohol and refused a preliminary breath test. He consented to a datamaster test which showed his blood-alcohol content to be .198.

Parson was released on $1,000 cash or surety bond from the Union County Law Enforcement Center.
