Andrew James Cason, 34, of Mount Ayr, was charged with child endangerment causing injury, assault with intent to inflict serious injury and assault causing bodily injury 8:25 p.m. Nov. 14 at a Mount Ayr residence.
According to a Ringgold County Sheriff’s report, Cason and a female victim were in an argument because he was intoxicated. On two occasions, he choked the victim with his arms and hands. The victim had multiple scratches and complained of shoulder pain. The dispute was recorded on cell phone video. A second victim was struck in the face by Cason and a third victim was struck in the head by his foot.
Cason was being held in the Ringgold County Jail on $13,000 bond.

Beau Ethan Boswell, 23, of Tingley, was charged with domestic abuse assault 3 p.m. Nov. 20 at a Tingley residence.
According to a Ringgold County Sheriff’s report, Boswell and a female victim began arguing after he returned from deer hunting. Boswell placed his arms and hands around the victim, impeding air flow. He also threw her against the wall, making the back of her head sore to the touch. She also had a scratch on her collar bone and complain of neck pain. She was cleared by the Ringgold County EMS.
Boswell was being held in the Ringgold County Jail on $5,000 bond.

Isaiah James Lovell, 19, of Creston was charged on outstanding Union County warrants 7 p.m. Nov. 25 at an undisclosed location.
Lovell was being held in the Ringgold County Jail without bond.

William Spencer Powell, Jr., 67, 204 Union St., Diagonal, was charged with operating while intoxicated, possession of a dangerous weapon while intoxicated and driving while revoked on 310th Street in Redding.
According to a Ringgold County Sheriff’s report, Powell had driven off the roadway, intoxicated and unconscious, with a large fixed blade knife on his belt. He refused to consent to a field sobriety test and a breathalyzer test. He had been driving while his license was revoked.
Powell was being held in the Ringgold County Jail on $4,000 bond.
