No citations were issued after an accident 9:35 a.m. Sunday on Elm Street.

According to a Creston Police report, Sheena Nichole Keeler, 31, Creston, driving a 2018 Chevrolet was backing out of a driveway and was on the road when Conner William Mason, 16, Creston, driving a 2005 Chevrolet, was also backing out of a driveway. Mason struck Keeler as he did not know where in the road he was. Keeler stated she has sensors on her vehicle and they did not respond until she was struck.

Estimated damages were $1,200 to Keeler’s vehicle and $800 to Mason’s vehicle.

Charges are pending after an accident 7:46 a.m. Oct. 28 on Pole Road.

According to a Union County Sheriff’s report, a 2020 Ford owned, but not driven, by Craven Martin, of Mount Ayr, crested the hill northbound in the 2200 block of Pole Road and crossed the center line into the southbound lane and struck a 1999 Pontiac owned, but not driven, by Mason Wagaman head on. The Ford went airborne over the Pontiac and came to rest in the west ditch with disabling undercarriage. The Pontiac was legally parked and a total loss. After the crash, the owner of the Ford reported it stolen to the Ringgold County Sheriff’s office. The crash is under investigation by the Union County Sheriff’s office.

Estimated damages were $2,500 to Martin’s vehicle and $5,000 to Wagaman’s vehicle.

No citations were issued after an accident 4:25 p.m. at 105 E. Adams St.

A 2016 Chevrolet owned, but not driven, by Chad Anthony Cass was legally parked at Fareway beside Cheyenne Paige Winslow, 15, Prescott, driving a 2014 Nissan. Winslow backed out of her spot and began driving forward, but had not backed up far enough, and struck the Chevrolet. Winslow stated she panicked and left the scene. She violated her school permit.

Estimated damages were $1,500 to Cass’s vehicle and Winslow’s vehicle.
