Robert Dean Dillinger II, 46, 210 E. Grade St., Winterset, was charged 12:01 a.m. Tuesday with driving while barred at the intersection of Maple and Mills streets in Creston.

According to a Union County Sheriff’s report, Dillinger stated he was driving to Walmart after being stopped for having a barred license

Dillinger was cited and released on his promise to appear.
