Hoby Glenn Gatson, Jr., 38, 149 Argyle St., Waterloo, was charged 2 p.m. Friday on four Union County warrants for violation of a no contact order at 300 N. Pine St.

According to a Creston Police report, on May 27, the original incident occurred when Gatson sent the victim a text message.

Gatson is being held in the Union County Jail on $1,200 bond.

Jeannette Hayes, 54, 117 Rockland Ave., Syracuse, New York, was charged 9:26 p.m. Saturday with public intoxication at 116 E. Adams St.

According to a Creston Police report, officers were dispatched to assist Amtrak train conductors remove Hayes from the train for being intoxicated and disorderly. Hayes’ emotions changed rapidly and she refused to consent to a breath test. Hayes also had a clear plastic bag containing 0.86 grams of marijuana and opened alcohol containers.

Hayes was released from the Union County Jail on her promise to appear.

Micah William Denman, 29, 3310 NW Casablanca Ln, Ankeny, was charged 4 a.m. Monday with public intoxication and failure to maintain control of motor vehicle at 804 N. Spruce St.

According to a Creston Police report, Denman was intoxicated while leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of a dentist’s office at 803 N. Sumner Ave. on foot before attempting to enter a residence by force. He left the property and returned before getting into a physical altercation. Denman smelled strongly of alcohol, could not maintain balance and did not consent to a breathalyzer test. Witnesses said Denman was intoxicated and he admitted to consuming alcohol

Denman was released from the Union County Law Enforcement Center on a summons to appear.

Lance Christopher England, 46, 509 N. Division St., was charged 6:24 p.m. Sunday with failure to abate nuisance property at 300 N. Pine St.

England was cited and released on a summons to appear.
