Tim Lee Roy Wambold, Jr., 38, 1559 250th St., Fontannelle, was charged 6 p.m. July 25 with second-degree theft in the 2600 block of Cedar Avenue in Bridgewater.

According to an Adair County Sheriff’s report, Wambold was sitting on an ATV while stuck in the ditch of a field while trespassing. When Wambold and the ATV were removed, deputies discovered the vehicle was stolen from Washita County, Oklahoma.

Wambold was cited and released on his promise to appear.

Taylor Marie Turnbull, 26, 301 NE Hayes St., Greenfield, was charged 11:44 p.m. July 29 with operating while under the influence on Iowa Highway 92.

According to an Adair County Sheriff’s report, Turnbull was stopped for driving 64 mph in a 55 zone. Upon contact, the deputy observed Turnbull having slurred speech and smelling of alcohol. Turnbull admitted to having a couple of drinks throughout the evening and consented to a breathalyzer test. The test result indicated a .159% BrAC.

Turnbull was cited and released on her promise to appear.
