Bart Douglas Dunkerson, 41, 318 Livingston Ave., was charged 7:50 a.m. Friday for possession of a controlled substance at his residence.

According to a Creston Police report, officers responded to someone throwing items into the street. When an officer spoke to Dunkerson, he confessed to snorting, “some white stuff,” and had a pipe with marijuana residue laying on a small table.

Dukerson was being held in the Union County Jail on $1,300 bond.

Robert Michael Kingery, 37, 1201 Orchard Drive, was charged 9:30 a.m. Sunday with assault at 214 Myrtle St.

According to a Creston Police report, Kingery told an officer he punched the victim with a closed fist. The victim was bleeding from their lip.

Kingery was being held in the Union County Jail on $300 bond.

Lisa Fenton reported 8:50 a.m. Sunday that her house was broken into and several items were stolen. Fenton lost two jewelry boxes that contained jewelry, two Amazon Fire sticks, a tablet, two suitcases and a Smith and Wesson .380 with sight and sleeve holster.

Estimated loss was $2,110.
