James Ehrlich, 34, 307 S. Lucas St., Lowry City, Missouri, was charged 9 a.m. May 21 on a Leon Police Department warrant with violation of a no contact order at an undisclosed location.
Ehrlich was being held in the Ringgold County Jail on $500 bond.

Daniel Clint Ahrens, 1140 S. 16th St., Adel, was found deceased and unattended 10:42 p.m. May 29 at 1577 County Highway P64 in Ellston.
According to a Ringgold County Sheriff’s report, Ahrens and his canoe were found floating in a pond where he had been fishing in the morning.
Ahrens was in the state medical examiner’s office in Ankeny for an autopsy.

Castillo was being held in the Ringgold County Jail.

A 1999 John Deere Gator was reported stolen at an unknown time Wednesday. The portable tent garage where the Gator was stored was also stolen.

Cale Hainline reported at an unknown time March 15 that 11 Milwaukee batteries plus supplies and boxes and bags of electrical nuts and connectors were stolen from his vehicle.
Estimated loss was $3,200.

No citations were issued after an accident 11:55 p.m. April 15 at the intersection of U.S. Highway 169 and 190th Street in Mount Ayr.
According to a Ringgold County Sheriff’s report, Melaina Jill Haley, was traveling south on U.S. Highway 169 where she swerved to avoid an animal on the road. Haley entered the west ditch, blowing a tire and causing damage to the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
Estimated damage is unknown.
