Shirley Kay Arends, 41, 107 Main St., in Lorimor, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia 9:08 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Hwy 169 and 5th St. in Lorimor.

According to a Union County Sheriff’s report, a deputy responded to a possible domestic incident inside the vehicle as a passenger was detoxicating, according to another passenger. A deputy recognized a marijuana pipe on Arends that she admitted was hers.

Arends was cited and released on promise to appear.
