Michael Scott Walton, 35, 1503 N. Lincoln St., Shaune William Tindle, 34, 809 W. Adams St. and Tonya Elizabeth Tindle, 31, 311 Monroe St., Clearfield were charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia; Shaune Tindle was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and driving while barred; and Shaune and Tonya Tindle were both charged with violation of protection order 7:50 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of N. Cherry and E. Prairie streets.
According to a Creston Police report, officers conducted a stop on Tindle’s vehicle for traffic violations. Shaune Tindle was driving the vehicle, Tanya Tindle was in the passenger seat and Walton sat in the back. After a positive alert on the passenger side by K9 Baxo, officers began to search the vehicle. Officers found 1.44 grams of methamphetamine in a clear plastic bag, a metal marijuana pipe and a loaded syringe in a blue lunch box in the back seat. Tanya Tindle claimed ownership of the blue lunch box all the occupants denied ownership of the contents inside. Shaune and Tanya Tindle were found to have a valid no-contact order between them. Walton has had four prior drug convictions and this is Tonya Tindle’s 3rd drug offense.
Walton and Shaune Tindle were held held in the Union County Jail on $5,000 and $13,000, respectively. Tanya Tindle was released from Adams County Jail on $5,300 bond.

Justin Paul Hodge, 41, 203 E. Mills St., was charged on a Union County warrant with failure to appear on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance 10:41 p.m. Tuesday.
Hodge was released from the Adams County Jail on $1,000 bond.

Kelli Sabrina Romero, 19, 311 N. Main St., Osceola, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and cited for minor in possession of alcohol 2:17 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of U.S. 34 and New York Ave.
According to a Creston Police report, Romero was observed running a stop sign and crossing over the center line. Romero confessed to alcohol consumption and had red, watery, bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and a hard time balancing. There were multiple alcoholic beverages in Romero’s car and she failed a field sobriety test.
Romero was released from the Union County Jail on $1,000 bond.

Noah Alexander Young, 21, 809 W. Adams St., was charged with violation of protection order and possession of paraphernalia 5:25 a.m. Wednesday at 813 N. Lincoln St.
According to a Creston Police report, Young was passed out in the hallway of the apartments at 813 N. Lincoln St. while there was a valid protection order against him. Young also had a backpack containing five pipes for smoking marijuana and methamphetamine which he admitted was his.
Young was being held in the Union County Jail awaiting bond hearing

Cindy Hamer, 2544 160th Ave., Murray, reported at 8:03 a.m. Tuesday a purse was stolen from 1700 W. Townline St.
According to a Creston Police report, the purse contained cash, car keys, checkbook and credit cards.
