Devin Lee Heimke, 28, 1304 Nodaway St., was charged with public intoxication 3 a.m. Sunday on the 200 block of East Montgomery Street.

According to a Creston Police report, Heimke was staggering, yelling loudly and arguing with officers on East Montgomery Street near the intersection with North Elm Street. Heimke had bloodshot, watery eyes and an odor of alcohol on his breath. He could not maintain his balance and went from arguing to crying.

Heimke was released from the Union County Jail on $300 bond.

Robert Loe, 3291 270th St, Lenox, reported 11:25 a.m. Friday that someone broke into a residence at 507 W. Mills St. sometime between Thursday and 11 a.m. Friday.

Tristan Ray Lehman, 24, 703 W. Mills St., was charged with possession of a controlled substance 1:03 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Livingston and West Fremont streets.

According to a Creston Police report, Lehman had possessed marijuana and this was his second offense.

Lehman was released from the Union County Jail on $1,000 bond.

Dusty Levi Champlin, 36, 120 Manor Drive, was charged with driving while barred 10:01 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Livingston Street and South Sumner Avenue.

According to a Creston Police report, Champlin was seen driving on a public road with a barred license status.

Champlin was released from the Union County Jail on $2,000 bond.
