Ringgold County Sheriff

Scott Williams Thurman, 44, 2632 State St., Redding, was charged on a Ringgold County warrant for a controlled substance violation — delivery of methamphetamine 9:55 p.m. Feb. 9 at his residence.

According to a Ringgold County Sheriff report, Thurman sold methamphetamine to a confidential source working under the direction of law enforcement on Jan. 18.

Thurman was released on $1,000 bond.
