Patrick Riley Iiams, 26, 801 N. Birch St., was charged on a Union County warrant for violation of probation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance 8:30 a.m. Tuesday on on the 300 block of North Street.

According to Union County Court documents, Iiams failed to sign up for probation supervision.

Iiams is being held in the Union County Jail on a $1,000 bond.

Betty Davis, 806 N. Cherry St., reported that sometime between 7 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday the windshield of her vehicle had been broken while it was parked in front of her residence.

Estimated damage was $200.

Kameo Margaret Smith, 43, 305 N. Oak St., was charged on a Union County Warrant for fifth-degree theft 11:27 a.m. Tuesday at her residence.

According to a Creston Police report, Smith picked up a wallet that had been forgotten by the victim on the counter at Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh. Smith put the wallet in her pocket and did not try to give it back to the victim or turn it in to Hy-Vee or law enforcement.

Smith was released on her promise to appear.
