Shawn David Crouch, 32, 704 8th St., Corning, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief 5:52 Jan. 14 at 702 8th St., Corning.

According to an Adams County Sheriff’s report, Crouch shot out a window in his neighbor’s home. Deputies had also responded to a complaint on Jan. 13 for a car window that was shot out.

Crouch was released from the Adams County Jail on $100 bond.

Kimberly Ileen Bloom, 36, 404 Loomis Ave., Corning was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia 2:14 a.m. Jan. 16 at her residence.

According to an Adams County Sheriff’s report, deputies stopped to speak with Bloom while she was walking on Loomis Avenue and noted her pupils were dilated and she was talking to voices, which she said she was hearing. Bloom admitted to smoking marijuana in addition to taking her prescription medication and said she had some marijuana at home. Deputies released Bloom and then went to her residence. Bloom’s mother, who also lives at the residence, told Bloom to show the deputies where the marijuana was. She gave her permission for a search and gave the deputies paraphernalia and controlled substances including glass pipes used to consume marijuana and other paraphernalia and some green material that smelled and appeared to be marijuana from the bedroom.

Bloom was released on her promise to appear.
