My name is Shaun Kelley. I want to be your Union County Supervisor.

I am a long time resident with a family history of over a century in Union County. It is my belief that I have the skills and knowledge to be your Union County Supervisor. I would not have put my name on the ballot, if I did not know I could do a great job.

During the 66 years, living and working in Union County I have studied, trained, and through personal actual experience have arrived prepared to handle the suggested experience categories for a Iowa County Supervisor (from iowacounties.org): experience in agriculture and conservation, budgeting, business management and finance, collective bargaining, court systems, drainage district, elections, human services, libraries, planning, zoning, and public safety, public health, secondary roads and bridges, and supervision of personnel.

Yes, I am qualified to handle and have experience in all of these suggested categories of experience. As Union County Supervisor, I will dedicate my efforts to the service of the people of Union County. As a retiree, I will not have the distraction of another job or jobs. Being a Union County Supervisor will be my focus.

My hope is to have the opportunity to work with the Union County Supervisors. With their help, I know we can make life even better in our county. My focus is on our future in Iowa.
