The Memorial Day Service at the Calvary Cemetery, honoring local veterans was so impressive.

As the flags flapped in the strong wind those in attendance were able to hear and appreciate “The Star Spangled Banner” and Taps by Skip and Tim Kenyon and the names and records of men and women who had served in the military as far back as the Civil War. All brought thoughts of how fortunate we are to live in the U.S.A., land of the free because of the brave. Thanks to all who helped make this program possible and of course to the Veterans who served, and some who gave the ultimate sacrifice of their lives to the cause of freedom.
