LETTER: ‘Keep the earth turning’

Regarding Mike Lang’s editorial of April 13.

I am old enough to have survived the “ice age,” “holes in the ozone,” “acid rain” and “the end is coming” a few times.

Remember when in 1999 the airplanes were supposed to drop from the sky? It’s good we depend on science to keep the earth turning, especially during this current fiasco.

The only thing they all have in common is the transferrence of wealth.
