Leslie A. Rosenkrantz

Leslie Rosenkrantz, 59, of Creston, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, at Creston Specialty Care. Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 20, at Powers Funeral Home in Creston. Services will be livestreamed. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Creston. Pastor Rodney Glazebrook will officiate. Open visitation, with family receiving friends, will be 10-11 a.m. Friday.

Leslie Ann Rosenkrantz was born Oct. 3, 1966, daughter of Thomas Eric Rosenkrantz and Wilma Ann (Combs) Rosenkrantz in Chula Vista, California. Leslie graduated from Chula Vista High School in Chula Vista in 1988.

In 1990, Leslie moved to Iowa, living in the Murray, Afton and Creston areas, where she began working in a variety of locations doing piece work. She later transitioned to Innovative Industries and finally SIRF, where she continued her work until her retirement in 2019, when health concerns prevented her from continuing.

She was an active participant in the Special Olympics in many different events, prior to her retirement, including bocce ball, track and field, bowling, cycling and swimming. She also loved to attend social events, eat out, dances, parties and other fun social times.

Leslie is survived by her special friend, Ernie Gerlach and her families at both SIRF and CARE.

Leslie was preceded in death by her mother.
