Stanley Manship, 76, of Newark, Texas, formerly of Afton, died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025, in the presence of immediate family in Decatur, Texas.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 14, at Powers Funeral Home in Afton. Pastor Sheila Sutton will officiate. Theodore J. Martens V.F.W. Post #1797 will be providing full military honors. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery near Afton. Open visitation with family receiving friends will be 10-11 a.m., prior to service time at Powers Funeral Home in Afton.
