Dennis “Denny” Killion, 70, of Orient, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. Celebration of Life Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield, with burial in the Greenfield Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the burial at the Orient United Methodist Church. The Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements.

Dennis Gene Killion was born Aug. 25, 1955, to Marjorie (Clayton) and Dale Killion in Orient. A lifelong farmer and devoted Hawkeye fan, Dennis found joy in the simple pleasures of life — walking the land, spending time with his faithful dog, capturing moments through photography and watching classic western movies.
Dennis is lovingly remembered by his three children: Marijo (Lawrence) Decker, Michael (Stacy) Killion and Mark Killion. He was a proud grandfather to Dylan and Mason Killion and Elijah, Hannah and Christina Decker. He is also survived by his siblings: Leroy Killion, Richard Killion, Kathy Wright and Kristy Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie and Dale Killion.
