Steven L. Boyd

Steven L. Boyd, 72, of Des Moines, passed away Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, in an accident in Altoona.

Steven Lynn Boyd was born Dec. 29, 1952, in Creston to Don and Maxine Boyd. He grew up in Creston. Steven joined the United States Army, drove a truck and lived most of his life in the Des Moines area.

Steven is survived by his sister Sandy (Lee) McNichols; brother Scott (Debbie) Boyd; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Maxine Boyd.

Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, in the chapel at Graceland Cemetery.
