Nicholas J. Henry

Nicholas Henry, 25, of Truro, passed away Monday, Sept. 29, 2025. A Christian Vigil Service was held Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Indianola. Father Adam Westphal officated the service.

Nicholas James Henry was born June 16, 2000. He grew up with a love for the outdoors and a heart full of kindness. He graduated from high school in 2019 and went on to pursue his passion for hands-on work, completing the electrician program and proudly becoming a journeyman in May 2025.

Nick married the love of his life, Cecily Lumbard, July 24, 2024. Together they welcomed their daughter, Clessie Jo, Jan. 31, 2025, who quickly became the center of his world.

He was a devoted husband, loving father and loyal friend. He loved camping, riding motorcycles, wood carving, leather working, anything he could build with his hands and he shared every adventure with his beloved dog Atlas. Whether it was helping a neighbor, fixing something for a friend or simply offering a kind word, Nicholas was always the first to show up and the last to leave. To know him was to be his friend.

Nick’s warmth, generosity and big-hearted spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Nick is survived by his wife Cecily; daughter Clessie Jo; mother Jana Henry; siblings, Nathan, Haley and Jacob Henry; grandparents, Lois and Delwyn Henry; uncle Grant (Mary Jo) Henry; cousin Sammi and aunt Jill Henry.
